  1. N.124 Action

We held another great gaming session at the Dragon's Guildhall. As I do not know everyone's 'Drome handle to list all the players, I will say that we had 6 participants at one table (a smaller group than usual due to vacations and other happening), gaming a little early war action over France.*

The group I gamed with saw the pilots of Escadrille Americaine (N.124), using ...

First of all, I like the Halberstadt D.III...for an early war plane it holds its own fairly well and is a maneuverable bird. And as there is a shortage of Nexus early war offerings, doing a couple of simple repaints to add more early war aircraft to the Wright Flight arsenal is within my capabilities as a modeler. 4. Some Updates

It's been a long, long, time...

First, I bought a pair of Keudell Halberstadts to repaint...one as an unknown pilot and the other as Goering. The unknown pilot is pictured here. The plane is actually more blue than purple in person, and I an not happy with some of the sloppy painting around the insignia, but it will do. For Goering I need the oh so slightest off white, which I do not currently have, so off to the hobby shop for the correct color.

  5. Cincy/Dayton Group - First Event

I have just posted an event on Facebook for the Cincy/Dayton folks. All are welcome of course. Will be held Sunday, July 27th, at The Hobby Shop in Miamisburg. Shop opens at noon, we should start rolling dice...er, I mean placing cards, about 12:30. Only 1915-16 aircraft and using the boom card with most of the rules.

Event details on Facebook group page: Wings of War/Glory

We will probably play several games, but at least one 1915 and one 1916 game. These are ...
