Looking for Martian Tripods

I picked up a starter for Tripods & Triplanes, but soon after realized that the Tripod sets were not available anywhere in the US. If anyone has some they don't need / want, please let me know. Thanks!

Eye wateringly expensive option though

AQMF (All Quiet on the Martian Front) could be another option if you can find any.

Good find! That's the set I bought a while back, although it's sitting on the pile of shame with the rest of the unbuilt kits.

And after looking over that pile, I realized that the 2005 version of the tripods is over a foot tall at 1/144, so maybe that one is too unwieldy to stand in place for a standard T&T tripod. :]

Probably the 1/350 is a better fit, Chris, I always thought the TnT Tripods were a bit on the small side.

Agreed, Chris. I liked how my AQOTMF 'Pods looked on the table.

I have used the three AQONMF tripods I have and agree, the larger Martians look much better.

Yeah, wonder if they'd require any tweaking to the mechanics or if being a larger target would be fine. If any of ya build a set and put em on the table, let us know how it goes!

As all the movement is done from the base and the shooting at them is peg to base, Chris, I think you'd just have to base them the same and get a copy of the manoeuvre decks.   Dave
