    Default One for the modellers

Saw this on the Hyperscale website:

'New from Fonthill Media is, First World War Aircraft in Scale: Scratchbuilding in 1/144 Scale by William Adair. This book is the first of its kind and is a masterclass in scratchbuilding and fine-scale modelmaking techniques. It is dedicated to 1/144 scale aircraft of the First World War and includes six individual projects crafted entirely by hand. With individual chapters on specific aircraft such as the Royal Aircraft Factory FE.2b, Airco DH.2 and Pfalz D.III and D.IIIa, as well as Nieuport 17 scouts. First World War Aircraft in Scale: Scratchbuilding in 1/144 Scale is available for preorder now direct from Fonthill Media and is scheduled for release in July.'

Yes, that looks really good. The idea of scratch building, on the other hand, I find pretty daunting. But perhaps I may just buy it to browse. Thanks for the heads up.

Uh oh, looks like the Intro course at Clipper University! Not sure I have the patience to build Beardmore engines from styrene tube but as Mike said, might have some great tips.

Wouldn’t they be in one of your (many) boxes?
