SWA Gameday Saturday May 9th
This Saturday the 9th at Proctor's in Schenectady will be another of the SWA'a gamedays. Zombieknight will run a WWI recon mission starting at 11am while I will run a WW2 Midway game in the later session.
Hope to see as many Drome members there as can make it.
If you participated at HAVOC in March, bring your battle ribbons as more will be added!

Chris is hoping to come up from CT. Maybe with Jay and Matt too? Rigley will try to make the 2nd game. If it is as usual there will be a good turnout. You have a good WoG following out there in your area.

SWA 6/15 was a lot of fun. We had 6 pilots for Jeremy's WWI recon missions and 5 for my Midway game.
AAR First Recon mission.
We have some of the newest planes in the air. I'm lucky to fly the Hannover and B&W striped tail razor.
The two Bristol recon planes and a Snipe gang up on an Albatros.
One hot Albatros.
My first shot ever with a DVIII! That's the way to start.
Germans seem to like the heat...
Hot on the tail of the Bristol.
A gaggle of Germans looking in the wrong place for the Bristols.
Ground fire scores a victory!
The remaining Bristol misjudged the approach to the target.
The Bristol is cornered.
Boom goes an Albatros making it closer.
The Bristol setting up an Immelmann for a run at the target.
The action gets intense over the target, a Nieuport falling as the Bristol makes its run.
The Bristol gets it's photo but is shot down in the act.
AAR Recon Mission 2
This time around we let the target have an 'A' AAMG.
This time the Bristols fly in going wide to split the Germans.
The Germans don't seem to care how their prey approach.
Nice formation...but who's flying the Bristol on the far end?
The enemy is spotted.
Once again the Germans quickly ignite.
A tight spot for a burning DVIII.
One DVIII burns up while a Camel tails the other.
The Hannover has it's hands full.
Can there be any fuel left in the tank?
Ground fire takes out my Snipe!
Those Germans can't get enough flames while the onlooking Bristol relaxes and has a smoke.
Damn ground fire takes out another Bristol!
Sorry no more photos by me, maybe Jeremy can add in some for the finish.
The British shot down all the Germans so with one remaining Bristol to take the photos they went home with their photo prize.

AAR 3, Midway, attack on the Yorktown.
The Yorktown was escorted by a destroyer and a cruiser. I gave the destroyer and carrier one 'C' fire out to two ruler lengths while the cruiser got one for each side. An 'A' was active for each ship per side to one ruler length.
The angry Japanese out for revenge.
A Kate somehow slips by a Wildcat.
Puffs of AA dot the sky as the Japanese get closer.
Wildcats do their best to break up the Japanese formation.
The Wildcats miss their targets but the AA is accurate.
AA takes down a Zero and a Wildcat, but the Kate flies on!
Vals dive on the Yorktown as the Kates start their topredo run. A direct hit for one Val!
A fish is in the water... but will it hit its mark?
Japanese planes fill the sky over the US fleet.
The torpedo scores 10 while a Val misses. (I let Japanese have a second chit draw if a torpedo '0' came up)
The dive bombers score half damage for glancing hits. (5 points)
One last torpedo sinks the Yorktown!

Strange. Last night I loaded these photos and I thought it was fine. This morning I check and the last two entries the photos were not coming up? I've seen other posts where the photos were showing the link but didn't come up. Anyone know whats going on?
