Thread: Strange Paper Challenge!

    Default Strange Paper Challenge!

Years ago when I was tiny tiny modeler my dad used to make paper airplanes for me from used envelopes. I could name any airplane and he snipped awhile and then handed it to me. His fave was the Corsair which he flew in Korea off carriers.

As time went on they were flyable with a few well placed staples. This became a game for us over the years. I found this B-24 I had made on our last challenge. All the parts had to be connected, shaped by flat folding, no glued on parts! All had to come from a single envelope of any size. It had to fly and be of course scale. Enjoy! Some where I have the pattern . . .

    Thanks for the memory trip!

When I was younger - between 8 and 12 - I would make tiny planes made of wire and plastic that flown. In my parent's home there must be some old photos of these strange birds. I'll try to find them and scan them to post here.
