  1. Good lord those are some superbly painted planes. So sweet looking.
  2. That is a sharp looking flock of Dr.1's!
  3. They look like factory product. I would never be able to tell they were Shapeways. Amazing job!
  4. Quite a striking look Andy!
  5. Very nice & suitably menacing in black. For some reason I've been thinking of doing one in a nice bright shade of royal blue. I think it'd look rather striking.
  6. That's a really cool custom Hayden. There have been a lot of good repaints since the last time I had time to pop in. Kudos to all of you.
  7. Florian, Like you, I didn't want to modify the planes themselves any. It is possible to mount both the ball bearing and the ring magnet onto pegs, & thus no modifications to the plane required. Only thing needed is a slight cut of the tip of one peg where it sticks through the ring magnet, & some super glue. Since you'd have to cut the pegs, you might want a bag of them if you don't already have one. (They're a good thing to have anyway.). That's it!
  8. Good point. Might make for a better mid to late-ish one maybe.
  9. I was just scouting around for Zeppelin rules a couple weeks ago. I'd been thinking they'd make for a good OtT scenario one of these days...
  10. Don't know that I'd seen this thread before! I've gotten decent with GIMP. Anyone ever use something called Blender? I started reading about it last night. I've heard it is freeware, & has an "unfold" feature that can be used to take a 3d model of something & unfold it, for oh, say, making paper models...
  11. Absolutely beautiful Tim! The pic's of them in flight together, or all lined up for display, are simply breathtaking.
  12. So many beautiful Nieuport's in this thread. I just got done reading "Nieuport Aces of WW1". Between it & this thread I'm really ready to do up some N11's for the OtT Early War campaign!
  13. That Welsh Dragon is fab! I'm likely to swipe that idea at some point.
