  1. Thank you all. yes, the wildcats like the zeros come from figther of the pacific, i used them to make an easy to manage air cover. They move at the same time (half a ruler) as the players and move towards the nearest plane. At a distance of half a ruler, the player takes A damage. He can attempt to destroy the fighter on a 5+ and win 5 points in the process. For the first game (Midway Island), there was air cover at low altitude 1/2(blue side of the counter) and high altitude 3/4 (white side of the counter). The counters were never turned over and remained at their starting altitude. For the game with the aircraft carriers, coverage was only at low altitude (historical). A hit by a dauntless on the front of an aircraft carrier removes an “air cover” counter from the game. As my aircraft carriers are a little smaller than those of pacific figther i printed paper bases but it can be done very well with those of Fighters of the pacific
  2. Trophy for the pilots
  3. Direct from our forum ,translate by Deepl. voila c'est fait , it's done Another happy Nervian mess Thanks to our forum guest Philippe for the gift of the planes, I've seen some of his zincs in paper up close, it's impressive. Another great day [Balance[/b]: Anthony wins the bet with 13 pts followed closely by Phil from Belgium with 12 pts. Anthony 13pts Philippe from Belgium: 12pts Pierre:8pts In the pack with 6 pts: José,Jean-Luc,Philippe D Phiphi -4pts at the back of the pack (the DCA had a field day ): JC-57 pts Dominique -58pts The huge difference lies in risk-taking and the leniency (or lack of it in this case) of the DCA. On the main part: [22 aircraft lost in total, 37 bombs dropped. 3 Japanese aircraft carriers, 1 cruiser, 2 destroyers sunk. 1 aircraft carrier, 2 cruisers, 2 destroyers damaged. We're not far from history, with one heavily damaged surviving aircraft carrier (normally the Hiryu, but in our game it was the Kaga), which was later scuttled. A few photos, no CR, I didn't really have time to take notes with this bunch of weirdos.:-) But all in all, to my great surprise, not a single Nervian took on water, not a single one crashed into a ship. Will they become skilled pilots? the bombs were correctly launched and the frank denunciation of our comrades leads me to believe that not one of them committed a crime in this respect (it should be noted that the Nervian is quick to denounce his comrades.... lol) A few highlights: A Spanish pilot sunning himself like an eagle, lying in wait for a large part of the battle, while his comrades suffered Japanese flak ... Some would say he was more of a chicken than an eagle, but everyone is free to his own opinions. A US pilot who took an explosion counter on his first moves, another who criticized (12) to finish off an aircraft carrier etc... In short, an eventful game [The morning game, bombardment of Midway We got the hang of it pretty quickly, but ran out of time to do the “torpedo” training. The big game We didn't have time to do the Yorktown mission after .
  4. fantastic job
  5. big game "Midway" in November ( 3 games ,4 if we have time Scenarios Scenario 1: attack on Midway (training) morning 1h Japanese dive-bomber (2 per player) Clbles : airfield, aircraft, barges, ships flak , US fighter Scenario 2 : 1st counter-attack ( training ) morning 1h Torpedo (2 per player) TBF avengers from Midway. The 4 Japanese aircraft carriers are on the table, along with their escorts and fighter planes. Historically, no carrier is hit, no avenger returns and only one surviving pilot remains in the water for 30 hours, watching the battle. Scenario 3: the decisive assault 2h Bombardment The 4 Japanese aircraft carriers and their escorts are on the table. 5 planes per pilot. Historically, the Japanese Zeros went down to stop the Avengers and didn't have time to go back up to intercept the Dauntlesses. No fighters. If possible. Scenario 4: the 2h response yorktown with escort and fighters. 3 planes per Japanese pilot, torpedo boat and bomber. https://lesnerviens.1fr1.net/t1424-midway-wings-of-glory The longest game of the day will be with the Dauntless in the afternoon, and I may put in the Avenger/Vindicator, even if it's not historic. To give pilots a choice: torpedoes or bombs. 1/144 models 5 more to come
  6. Donation sent from france . For all the files I've been able to use and the wonderful friendship on the forum.
  7. Really nice felixtowe, love the wreck too. Made one in 1/144 https://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/showthread.php?34435-Where-are-they
  8. We made our big game last saturday. AAR trad from Deepl trad Divided arbitrarily in 1945 into two states separated by the 38th parallel, Korea had been the scene of constant border incidents since 1949, when the occupying Soviet and American troops began to withdraw. Under the influence of the United States, the United Nations embarked on negotiations aimed at reunifying the country and installing a pro-Western government. The Soviet Union, Communist China and certain political groups in North Korea were violently opposed to such a solution. At dawn on June 25, 1950, eight North Korean divisions crossed the 38th parallel.... You play the role of a Soviet (3) Chinese(3) or Korean(1) pilot. USSR Chinese and North Korean S.M Kramarenko N.V Sutyagin Y.G Pepelyaev ( Dominica) V.I Chizh V.M Khvostantsev No Kum-sok Zhao Baotong (Jean-Luc) Wang Hai (JC) Sun Shenlu Gan Gyong-Duk The Sabre's performance was close to that of the Mig-15. The lighter Soviet fighter, however, had a better rate of climb and maneuverability. Its armament consisted of three cannons (two 23mm and one 37mm), a single shell of which could bring down an opponent; but it fired at a third of the rate of the F-86's six machine guns. In fact, the mediocrity of the Chinese pilots and the value of the American pilots made the fighting unequal. These air battles were reminiscent of World War II. The parameters differed, with altitudes of 3,000 m and speeds of up to 1,100 km/h, but the conditions and tactics hardly changed. There was no ground control, no radar (except, in the case of the F-86, an APG-30 fire-control radar), no missiles. Navigation was based on ground reconnaissance from maps, or more roughly on estimation. Fuel consumption calculations depended on the pilot's ability to estimate his range. For interception, he had only his own vision. Once the battle was underway, speed fell to around 600 - 700 km/h until one of the protagonists tried to escape (by acceleration) or was shot down. In short, nothing that a pilot from the Battle of Britain was not familiar with! North American F-86 Sabre Base: Fighter Deck: Dx2 including one straight Climb: x2 Ceiling: 17 Damage: 22 Weapons: BBB/BA Base:Fighter Deck: Dx2, one straight. Can make 2 subsequent 45° turns. Climb: x1 Ceiling: 17 Damage: 22 Weapons: DC/C drawing Romain Hugault Morning Matinée B29 shot: to simulate the speed of the Mig, a pilot who has been shot at by a B29 draws an extra counter and chooses the damage from the counters drawn. Scoring: Pilots keep the damage counters they have received. Damage to enemy B-29s and fighters is recorded for each pilot. At the end of the game, the damage received is deducted from the pilots' total points. Morning game points are not added to the afternoon game points. 2 morning trophies: best saber pilot and best mig pilot 1 trophy in the afternoon for best pilot vs B29 1st and 2nd games (2x1h) 4 vs 4 (I play the 4th) MIg15 vs F86 sabre Pilots compete on a mig or saber for 1 hour, then switch mounts. Aprés-midi Mig15 vs B29 The B29 cross the table and the Mig15 try to do as much damage as possible. Special rules: [speed: [/b] Hunters play two cards at a time, one of which must be straight ahead. B29s will play only one card at low speed. Limited time Pilots have limited fuel for 10 turns (D10 MDJ). One turn equals one movement (2 cards) Pilots must finish their move outside the game table (central base support) when using their last fuel counter. If the pilot leaves the table, he can always return, taking into account the number of turns required to do so. If the pilot runs out of fuel and is still on the game board, he must eject, losing his plane and the structure points on his final score. He then tests the success of his ejection seat and parachute on a D6 (3+). If he fails, he loses another 5 points and gains a POW "Prisoner" figurine. He then returns with a new plane. Table exit A fighter can leave the combat zone (table) and return: By the same edge: spend 1 turn (2 cards) By the opposite edge: spend 2 turns By an adjacent edge: spend 2 turns Pilots 4 Russian, 3 Chinese and one North Korean The F86 Sabre That's it, As usual, thanks to everyone for their participation and good spirits. Morning game: victory in Mig for Dominique and in Sabre for Pascal. Afternoon game: victory for Rémy with 3 explosions of B29, not easy to catch up with the score. Next time, for the points, I'll only count the damage caused to the opponent and only 10 points less per plane lost for the pilot. I won't be using D20s to blow up bombers either. Le terrain est prêt , les B-29 sont en attente The dogfight begins, Pilots discover the speed and maneuverability of the Mig against the saber. At the end of 10 laps, the pilots must be off the map or they run out of kerosene and lose a plane. Rémy didn't have time to get out and found himself trapped... After 3/4 of an hour, the pilots change horses. End of training and dogfight The B-29s enter the scene on both mats. Pierre having chosen No Kum Sok, the North Korean pilot, finds himself with a saber to defend the B-29s. In fact, No Kum Sok is the only North Korean pilot to have deserted and brought his mig to the South Korean side For once, fighters attacking the bomber will have to face enemy fighters. I also take a Saber, which will have to come out if I roll a 1 on a D6 (a D I throw discreetly so as not to alert the Communist pilots). I'll manage to make a few turns without leaving the table and damage one or two Migs. Rémy will be lucky with the D20 roll and will get 3 explosions( 80+69+30) , Dominique will also get 2 explosions ( 66+48 ) Difficult to catch up with the score for the other pilots. End of the fight, another great day, everyone leaves with at least one fig, everyone's a winner Thanks to everyone.
  9. great job ! how do you manage to play with the buidings? you can take them off to put the planes?
