If there's a list growing for the Brazilian restaurant, I'll attempt to join.

I am going through this thread, trying to get a coherent grip on what is happening, and finding out what the ladies wish to play, and I see lots of questions about Friday afternoon. We are hoping to make it by 3:30pm, and will bring tripods v triplanes if there is a table free

    Lest we forget

I will ensure there is a table available. I will also update the agenda with the latest info.

If you would like some company Steve, let me know where and Mrs. K. and myself will be happy to join you both.

    Hi all,
I'm really looking forward to this one, as I'm sure everyone is, Brazilians and all
Meantime, a bit of promotion for the WW1 tables.
Current situation with WW1 game, "There and Back Again". Its scheduled to run from 14.00 to 16.00 hrs on the Saturday, which clashes with rounds 3 & 4 of the Masters and also with John Biggles' game "Train Busting".
At present I have three takers, Camel Crew (Iain), Guntruck (Steve) and Cavendish (Peter). Adding in myself as a player, this is just about doable, given the present nature of the mission, so long as players are happy to take on three models each. I could do it with two each, but not sure how it would play out, so current players might like to give their opinions on that one.
Alternatively, if anybody else wants a crack at it, do let me know. Thanks

The more the murkier. Options appear to be Pizza Express, a burger place, Taco Bell, Wagamamas or TGI fridays. I'm assuming nobody is interested in MacDonalds. There is a pub/kitchen about the same distance as Asdas on the other side of the main road, but their reviews aren't great. Any preferences or suggestions (preferably that don't involve driving)?

Theres always the option of a taxi if there are enought of us. We're up for a new spot. May be our illustrious WC could recommend a place, seeing how he is "local"

    Hi All, Train Busting.
For those who haven't seen or played this, it was a demo/participation game run at a few shows to demonstrate WW2 Wings of Glory on a smaller scale than the Battle of Britain set up.
4 Whirlwinds attack a train, while 4 Bf109es appear to beat them off/destroy them.
This is quite a short game for up to 8 players.
As we have a 2 hour slot, we will begin in late 1940-early '41, but respawn through the months into 1942.
The British will have the options for Spitfire IIa, IIb, Whirlibombers, SpitfireVb and Spitfire IXs.
The Germans may have 1 Bf110 at any time, and move through 109 f2s f4s/g2s and end up with Fw190 A3/4s.
These raids on French infrastructure and German airfields were designed to get the German fighters up to be then thumped by escorting squadrons of Spitfires and other fighters, while the Whirlwinds ran for home.
In the game the Whirlies will try to kill the train then dogfight the Germans, respawning as whatever is right for the changing date. Same with the Germans
Multiple trains can be run to keep things interesting, and as an excuse to fly Whirlibombers.
My altitude rules will be in use, e.g. when a pilot wishes to climb they will use a small blue chit with a C to climb with any manouver card with a white arrow, diving will be a chit with a D and any blue arrow.
Team points may be won for successfully destroying the train (which will include Flak cars) and on the other side by successfully shooting down all designated Train Busters.
Other wise it is 2 points for a kill, and -1 point for being shot down.
Amy will be assisting me in running the game, to help keep score and to make sure no-one gets too excited and gets ahead of the game turns.
I hope enough of you are interested to fly all 8 spaces so I can concentrate on running things, but the number of players must be the same on each side.
If it looks like one side has an unfair advantage in aircraft types, players can swap sides at half time.
    Mostly though, just have fun.

Updated Program as follows: Still need one more WW1 game and details of what's happening in the nautical room...
I can set up a WW1 table as a fallback although I hope to be doing Taranto 1st slot...

There are a lot of folk who haven’t committed game wise, so I think you will have loads of players (at least eight)

Regards WW1 first slot, Whispering Death and Mrs Biggles are offering to run T and T if that is acceptable and no-one else has anything to offer.
Will you accept the challenge and die like gentlemen, or run screaming as the ladies unleash their alien hordes?
And yes, they are proposing to be the aliens and take on all comers.

Apologies to all as I thought I had already sent this info, I blame the lack of info on my retired senility.

The Sails this year will be a representation of the First Battle of Algeciras 1801.
A repesentation as although I have files for the correct ships for the battle, my desktop is us and I have lost all my files for Sails and Wings. Trying to recover to no avail at this time so cant make the correct ship mats and logs, however I can get the correct types to make a game,
Room will be for max 9(10) players, 6 x British and 3 possibly 4 French. So please if you are wanting to play send your names and which nation you want to play.

Hi there, Is there a consolidated list of the European Master enrolled players?
Take in account thet Fabio willing to support with me eventually the tables are more than one.
Also I see the master ti overlapping the Taranto second wave, and I think to be booked there, eventually I can swap my seat with Andrea Angiolino that is in the 1st wave.

    Aye Aye Sir!
Well a lot of opportunities ... I would play with you and the band, but I should master the European Master WW1 ... and there is Taranto (the "Italian Algesiras" history)
Is there any possibility to arrange day and time to serve also on your table?

Not being able to see the images, I'm not sure what is happening when or with whom other than I'm am in for Wave 1 of Taranto.

Assuming there is space, sign me up for the WWII train busting and the air races, if any of those are full I'll slide across to whatever is happening on the WWI table.

Also up for some Tripods on the Friday.

Ello Chris. Book me in for Early Years WW1 on Friday and De Plane Boss De Plane on Saturday PM. Think that's me booked. Empty space on Saturday AM session so I can watch the First Wave of Taranto going in - unless something else catches my eye

    Sorry Andrea.
You can't swap the order of play. I have printed out all the orders and shipped them to the Flight Leaders and Neil. Also name badges are completed and printed off. Aircraft and crews are not interchangable at this late stage I'm afraid.
