More Spitfire and Hurricane sets pending (1/200)

I should have more 1/200 decal sets for Spitfire and Hurricane ready within a week. The Spitfire sets will be for 222 and 602 squadrons. The Hurricane sets will be for 56, 601, and 607 squadrons.

South African Air Force Decals

Kevin While I'd love to make requests for 2 and 40 Squadron SAAF Spitfire V and militarized South African Ju-86 decals, it occurs to me that a quicker and simpler expedient would be SAAF roundels and fin flashes, which replace the red of RAF insignia with orange. Thanks!

Decals for the Armaments in Miniatures 1/200 scale Vickers Wellington are now in the Miscellaneous Miniatures web-store. There are separate sheets for 300, 305, and 311 squadrons. Should be enough decals on each sheet to complete at least six models. There are some spare decals on the sheets and there's a choice of 11 different aircraft code and serial number combiniations. Avro Lancaster No. 7 Squadron 1/200

Here's another sheet of decals for the 1/200 scale Lancaster, this one for No. 7 squadron. Unlike the No. 9 squadron decal sheet, this one has spare decals and the choice of four different aircraft identification codes. If other codes are needed, I can generate another sheet in a matter of hours. I've designed the 1/200 scale decals for 92 Squadron. I expect to test them this week. Are there nominations for two other Battle of Britain Spitfire squadrons? Beaufort decals - 1/200 scale

Order arrived from Armaments in Miniature yesterday. It included 1/200 scale Beauforts and Lancasters. Both models look very nice and are nice castings. Here's an unpainted Beaufort undergoing decals, test-fitting. Initially I'll be offering decal sets for No.22 and No.217 squadrons. 217 out of Malta. Feedback appreciated. B.P. Defiant No. 264 Squadron 1/200 scale decals

These decals are designed to fit the Armaments in Miniature 1/200 scale Defiant. There are four sheets in the series although only two are shown below. Sheets -264A, -264B, and -264C each contain roundels, tail flashes, and aircraft codes for four aircraft. The sheets have lettering for different aircraft within No 264 Squadron. These sheets are $5 each. Sheet -264D contains only aircraft and squadron codes. There are markings for 12 aircraft on this sheet. It retails for $3.50. I expect to update the webstore with these decals before 1/15/17. If you want to order before then, just send me a PM M9-0304-264A, -264B, and -264C each contain complete markings for four aircraft. Mustang 1A No. 170 squadron

Decals are available, in my webstore, for the 1/200 scale model of the Mustang 1A available through Armaments in Miniature. Webstore: [url]http://shop.miscmini.com/t/decals-1/200--9mm[/url] There are two decal sheets available for Mustang 1As of No. 170 squadron. Each sheet has enough decals for four models. There's also a separate sheet available that contains decals for the yellow leading edge stripes. Each of these stripes is 14mm by 1.25mm. Two stripes are need for each wing and they need to be fitted and trimmed by the modeler. I experimented with a single, larger decal. During testing I found that the larger decal cracked when wrapped around the leading edge of the model. That's why there are two stripes per wing. Decals are now available for the 1/200 scale Armaments in Miniature model of the Handley Page Hampden. There are currently three sets available. 83, 106, and 420 (RCAF) squadron are represented in the sets. Each set has three different sheets and each sheet has markings for three different aircraft. Whirlwind 263 and 137 Squadrons types A and C 1/200

These decals are now available. Sets -263A, -263B, -263C, -263E, -263F, -263G, 137A, -137B, -137D, and -137E are complete sets that include roundels, aircraft/squadron codes, and the tail flash. They include some spare decals just in case. They retail for $5 a sheet. Set -145D contains only the squadron/aircraft codes. The code letters are 0.12" (~3mm) tall. -263D and -137C retails for $3.50 each. If you're looking for roundels, I can print those based on the type and size you need. Although I have every intention of creating decals for many more British aircraft and squadrons, the following are ones that I've actually printed for test fitting on Armaments in Miniature or Shapeways models: Whirlwind (Shapeways) - 263 Squadron Hurricane I - 145 Squadron Hurricane IID - 6 Squadron Spitfire I/II - 92 Squadron Buffalo - 67 Squadron As soon as I have them tested and am satisfied with the look, I'll post pictures and make them available.
