Thread: Airplane cards I am working on.

  1. #1

Default Airplane cards I am working on.

Here are a few homemade airplane cards that I am making or reworking to upload for anybody that is interested.

Airplane Maneuver Deck Damage Deck Hit Points
    SPAD VII: B B 16
    Nieuport 28: M A 14
    Bristol F2b: B B/B B/A 16
    Halberstadt CL.II: J B/B 15
    Aviatik D.I Berg: B A 14
    Phonix D.I: J A 15
    Hansa Brandenburg D.I: J B 13
    Sopwith Pup: I B 13

I've done a bit of research on these to be able to fit them into the existing maneuver decks. I am open to any suggestion on what there abilities in the game should be.

Well, the Spad VII is officially going to be B B 15

Wow, Keith do you ever sleep?

Thanks for the reply. I had conversed with Andrea awhile back after I did my first SPAD VII card and he mentioned that the SPAD VII would eventually be made but he wasn't sure when. When is this coming out?

    I guess until then I'll make it B B 15.

No, not really. LOL The VII is coming out as a card in the Hit and Run booster.

Well dag-nabit-all! (old southern slang there) I guess I'll hold off on the SPAD VII and the Aviatik. If you go to the Yahoo! wow_nexus group you'll see that I had uploaded a zip file with several of the SPADS VII he is going to offer. I'm happy to see they will be released.

What about the other planes I listed? I can tell you that the F2b and the Halberstadt CL.II are a hand full having a tail gunner and maneuvering like a fighter.

There was a thread/post around here somewhere about the Bristol Fighter, and Andrea stated that 2-seaters cannot fire the rear gun during the three cards of an Immelman. That takes the sting out of them a bit.

Even if you didn't use the rear gun during the immelmann maneuver, just a fly by can get you stung twice.

    I didn't say they still weren't dangerous.

The Bristol Fighter had a reputation as being a very dangerous plane to fight when it was flown like a scout, not like a two-seater. I've used it a few times, with the immelman, and it does have that extra sting in the rear, but it's not unbeatable.

Just curious, where did you get you F2b card? Did you make it or downloaded?

I've uploaded a Halberstadt CL.II if your interested in having a German two-seater fighter.

I don't use cards. Miniatures only.

I had the local TAP Plastics cut a few plastic bases of the correct size, and I drilled and marked then my self.

I also have a Rumpler, AEG G IV, Halberstadt CL III, & a Breguet Br 14.
