Wow, great Wildcats Chris. Can't wait to see them at Origins.
Those are awesome, Chris.
Maybe I should bring my Merit models with me next month for you to show me how it's done ....
Thanks, guys, more are in progress.
Sure, Pete, I'm your Huck Finn.
I got a bit better on the Flory Wash which helped a lot. If you've seen any of the videos in using it they make it seem like you just slather it on then rub the excess off, which probably works on larger models. On these I found if I took more time using cotton buds and (importantly) a small damp brush, and used a light touch, I could get better results more precisely cleaning around panel lines especially areas like under the stabilizers. Weirdly fun, like painting in reverse.

Great looking birds. The wash really pops those lines.
Lovely looking Cats Chris.
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Much appreciated Craig and Steve. Looking forward to getting them on the table.
Impressive Chris.

Really awesome Cats!
You're a MACHINE, turning out so many lovely paint jobs!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Oh, look who's talking
Thanks, Tim!
sidebar: I used the paintrack app to see that the AK Interactive Light Gull Grey was a close match with Vallejo model color Deck Tan (2.42 hex value) which I've used for years. But I laid them out on the palette and sure enough, really hard to tell the difference. Mixed them because the Deck Tan covers so well.
flory wash: I'll try to remember to do a before/after pic on the next pair.
Beautiful work, Chris Love those Wildcats
Great looking planes there Chris! Awesome!
Thanks guys, very happy with 'em.
Trying to vary the shades a tad on some future ones in order to better tell them apart on the table.

I swear this 53 decal was square during most of the process but somehow ended up askew. Not sure I can tolerate this lol.
