    Default Looking for decals

    Hi,

I am looking to get and painting up some WWI planes.

I do see the the decals for the Germans.

Are there any good places or links to decals for British, French and American WWI planes?

If there is a tread on this I could find it.

To get that great looking model you always envisioned, go Dom!

    Dom's Decals.

Just go to google and type in Dom's Decals and go to the WW1 section.

I wish there was a sub-forum for decals like there is for shapeways.

    Thanks I look there.

yeah a forum would be good, people could post up decal information.

Patterns, layouts, historically correct layouts maybe.

Agree on having a dedicated section. Not just commercial though, I have seen some stellar homebrew decals here as well!

    I did check Dom's.

There is some good stuff on there.

Could use some more with unit markings and other decals beyond the insignia.

    They seem pretty good.

    Has anyone tried them?

How well do they look when finished?

You're welcome to use my forum, Miscmini's Hangar, for wish lists. I have some WWI decals on my to-do list and welcome more.

Any unusual ones you can't get from commercial suppliers - contact me.

    These are all homebrewed.

If you have access to a colour inkjet printer, decal paper is easy to get, and I can just email the patterns. If not, I can snailmail them.
