Hi All !
I probably missed it somewhere on this forum but I cannot find any card representing a British Radar.
I started a BoB solo campaign and one of the scenarii is a Bomb Run on a Radar Site.
Can somebody help me ?

Hello Olivier. I used tokens from the game with numbers on them.
I later used little rubber scraps from work that looked like radar towers and placed them on top of the tokens just for eye candy.
The even numbers were radar towers and and odd were fake radar towers with AA guns. As the enemy got in range they would flip them over and would start shooting. Took 5 points to take it down either AA gun or radar tower. If using altitude the fighter planes had to be at level 1 to fire at the target on the ground or you could use Stukas and the Heinkel HE.111 to do bombing runs. If you want to up the point value of the targets, feel free to adjust the scenario. For the scenario you must pick a number of radar towers to take down to have the Axis win the game. Also you either have a time limit or number of planes the Allies have to shoot down to win. I prefer a time limit myself.
Hope this helps.
Thomas
If you wanted to spend some money, you could try these:

CT,
Wasn't meant as a facetious comment and apologies if it came across as such. Disguising or duplicating one of these as a dummy is a little difficult, and it takes considerable resources to construct something 360ft high!
'Transmission at any one station required four 360-foot-high masts, 180 feet apart, between which the antenna wires were strung. The returned signal was not received by the same antenna, but on four separate 240-foot-high masts. To say the least the whole installation was extremely large. It could not rotate and did not scan, but floodlit a 100-degree sector with radiation.'

Cheers mate. I think the more pertinent aspect is that a lattice-built steel tower was bloody difficult to damage with a 500-lb bomb, as there's next to nothing to actually hit!
Well if you buy the theory put up in the movie BoB, then you hit the little building next to the towers where the techneers examine the sillyscopes to determine enemy intentions.
Thanks to all of you for your comments.
I found some pics on the net which I can use to represent Radar Station.
The idea is to give 10-15 points to the complete site. It means that this site can be damaged only and could be repaired later during the campaign, with an impact on the next campaign days, due to a lack of radar coverage.
The plastic tokens are really cool. If I find time for this, I'll try to do it by myself.
Thanks again for your valuable help.
Obviously the Luftwaffe didn't!
From Wiki; 'During the battle, Chain Home stations — most notably the one at Ventnor, Isle of Wight — were attacked several times between 12 and 18 August 1940. On one occasion a section of the radar chain in Kent, including the Dover CH, was put out of action by a lucky hit on the power grid. However, though the wooden huts housing the radar equipment were damaged, the towers survived owing to their open steel girder construction. Because the towers were untoppled and the signals soon restored, the Luftwaffe concluded the stations were too difficult to damage by bombing and left them alone for the remainder of the war.'
If you can pick out the wooden huts while being shot at by AAA, you're doing well.
German aerial photograph from September 1940 showing RAF Ventnor has been selected as a target. The station is clearly visible in the centre of the picture on top of St. Boniface Down
And if you can pick out which hut is the vital one, you're doing even better!
Harder than it seems ... Hmmmm ...
What I can do is to install 4 ground targets covered by 2 or 3 AAA. Each ground target will have 5 hit points. If all the ground targets are destroyed during the bombing run, so the radar site is out of order for the rest of the campaign. Otherwise, it can be repaired.
I'll try like this, just for fun.
Here's a link I found to RAF Bawdsey. Used to track V2's.

Link to map of Chain Home stations. Click over mast and if it can it will take you to a google map of site.

Uploaded a pdf and word file of the same thing. 2 radar sites and 2 masts (with shadows). When they have cleared the moderation queue you'll have a target card. If you want a copy now PM with your email and I'll pop it in the post.
I've also just completed 2 searchlight target cards. I'll upload them tomorrow, if not soon.

Skaflocs second picture is part of the Pevensey Chain Home Radar Station about two miles from where I live (if that !)
Here is a map of the installation:
The pic is of the Receiver Station on the left end of the installation
Here is a link about the site: http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/s...me/index.shtml

I just put on the card what sime of them where defended by, not all. If you download the word variant you can play around with whats on the card, remove or change or add your own ideas. These were just a generic for the sites.
I was searching some info on these sweet clumsy things and i found some nice articles that explains their function simple way:

Also here are some target cards that can be used as an alternative to the Neil's great work.

They are being sent to the Files.

Great stuff Jan.
This ties in very well with the discussion posted here.

Thanks for the cards.
Rob.
Better than mine Jan, those look fantastic.
Thanks to all of you !
Now, I can prepare my Stukas with bomb loads and try to blind the "'Brits" !
