Allied Fighter Sweep/ Axis Scout Mission

This is a very easy mission to set up for you and your players.

2-4 players Teams of 2 players per side if possible.

Winner Chooses side to play with by a winning a coin toss.
Losser picks what side of the map his flight group will occupy.

Choose a total of 6 planes for both sides.
Any combination of planes will do. have to be fighters, no bombers or blimps.
Set up an objective on the map that the Allied players starts on this is the opposite side of the Axis players map.

This is an Axis Scout Mission against the Allied side of the map.
Allied player is trying to shot down all of the Axis planes and stop any of them from fleeing the battle and returning home.

Allied players losses the map if an Axis plane makes it to the objective and safely flies off the opposite side of the map.

Axis players must get one plane over the objective and safely fly that plane back off the side of the map where he started at.

This is the objective for the Axis player to Scout out and one plane must safely return to base with information or the mission is not successful.

This mission can last up to 1 hour or 25 turns.

Sounds like a good one for a beginner to try out. Have you looked at the missions in the rule books that come with Famous Aces, etc. The Col. also has some crackers in his Knights of The Air campaign. You can download that from the files section.
