Selling Collection

At a recent show I had a member of the public come to see us and asked about selling his Wings collection.
He is down sizing and would prefer to sell his collection to someone who would use it and get the enjoyment.

He would prefer to sell complete but may split.
If anyone is interested contact me and I can pass you on to the seller to make arrangements for collection/ postage etc.
With some items they are too much for posting abroad so I believe this is mainly aimed at uk.
Be aware the models do not have box’s

He is looking for around £400 but is willing to discuss

On the face of it not a bad looking deal Chris. If you said £10 an aircraft, with the Bombers and the metal multicase it comes to well over £500 worth.

An absolute steal I think. I just hope they go to a good home and are not re-sold on eBay at an inflated price

First, what is the situation with this - is the collection still for sale?

Second, would he be interested in splitting the collection, or does he want to sell everything to one punter?

Hi Brendan, apologies for any delay, had some issues lately.
The collection is now being checked over by a member of the forum who is looking to purchase the whole collection and he is in contact with the seller.
I do not know if this is a done deal as yet but can only assume it is progressing until I hear differently.
Unfortunately the seller was really only interested in selling as a collection. If I hear any differently I will post here.
Expect a pm from me this weekend ref models.

Hi Chris

I didn't want to bother you with any emails as you are very busy at the moment. However, just to confirm that I will be meeting the seller this week to buy the collection - everything has been agreed and I'm just waiting to travel down to pick everything up.
