    Default Pilots on leave, when?

When would be ww1 pilots send on leave? Was there any rule apart from when they started breaking down?

If I recall correctly, Capt Eddie Rickenbacker made mention of a certain hotel in Paris where airmen spent time on leave. I will find his wartime memoir and look this up.

So, Rickenbacker noted that he twice had medical leave in Paris, but also airmen took leave time at Chateau Sirur, a large estate about fifty miles south of Toul (where the 94th Aero Squadron was based).
