It's up to Láďa, but minimum is:
Beer...yes
Wine...yes
Food...yes
Spirits...no
Unfortunately, no eternal life in WoG universe...
There is a scene in The Sky Riders movie (1968, I receommend it, by the way) when an English radio operator tunes a Händel's Messiah over Germany and plays it to the headphones of others. A spiritual moment in moments without fire. A rear gunner says: "There is no God, Tommy. No God." and he replies: "I see, but you never know."
And I guess there is only a gin in bottle of Rakija (in our language a jinn and gin have the same pronunciation), but you never know
OK, an update: Germany requires a negative test for Prague residents. Situation here is not the best, but I still hope it will be under control during event weekend. Talked shortly about it with Kubajs yesterday and we are still running preparations as usuall (so far so good).
My recommendation is: stay tunned, watch news and do according of recommendations of your Foreign Ministry.
Fingers crossed for you chaps, if it was in the U.K. you would have zero chance.

We are on "the best" way to the same result
Yeah, things have gone down the hill here in Czech. And the scientists expect it to start going down even steeper.

It’s dreadful everywhere, stay safe guys.

Christmas has been cancelled in the UK.
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Due to the rising infection numbers in all European capitals, Prag, Budapest, München, etc..., I have to cancel my travel plans for Prague (Czech comrades already informed).
Had a serious talk with my wife before and there are harsh travel restriction for Bavarian police officers.
Hope to see you all next year...
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Last week Dutch provinces North Holland (incorporating Amsterdam) and South Holland (incorporating The Hague and Rotterdam) have been given code Red
The number of infections rising dramatically ..., luckily (?) no total lock down or general quarantine (yet).
We will have to sit this one out, for how long is anybodies guess ...
Wishing everybody here wisdom, patience and good health.
Take care chaps and undoubtedly we will see each other again in the (near) future.
cheers from sunny The Hague ..

@Aardvark1430: Good thing is we have Solo Play rules & App. Thank you, gues for these gifts
Its just one disappointment after another at the moment isn't it. Real shame there isnt a digital version of the game we could all play online.
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
It is really hard to understand why we do not have such an option - in this digital world we live in.
Years ago it was an online version of WGF for PC. I recall playing it online with others in a so called "room", just like Memoir'44 online works nowadays. There was a wide range of aeroplanes and it worked smoothly. do not remember the name of the version, but after some time it was not updated or sth. and became not available.
It can not be difficult to construct. No 3D sophisticated graphics or so.
What comes to my mind as a solution is ...fundraising for an IT student?
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
It was a java app made by missaak (thread online wings of war - testers and helpers wanted) and you can see the official explanation and some screenshots below.

YES! That was it! How can we resurrect this gem?
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
As far as I know, missaak isn't in this game anymore. Of course, some details changed (complete DB made by Honza, Nexus down), but I dont believe we can ressurect it. Unfortunately.
If nothing goes well with this year's Con, what do you think we all organize gaming day in our respective gaming groups, and play the same scenario (or at least war and theatre) on Saturday 17th?
Sounds like a plan, Nemanja
Hey, guys,
how did you spend Saturday?
We played part 2 of Midway mini campaign. As previous game was victorious for USAF, today we played Surprise Attack on Japanese carrier. We had 3 USAF players (each flew pair of Devastators, Dauntless' and Wildcats, respectively), and 4 IJAF players who flew 6 Zeros in total. USAF gained total victory, by sinking carrier and killing 2 Zeros, at price of two TBD's.
I hope next year we'll have good games at Prague
Hi Nemanja,
sounds like you had fun yesterday. I seem to remember the game you played, didn't we do that last year in Prague ? Or at least something similar.
We don't get much chance of playing here, the government strongly advises against moving around the country for non-essential trips. I don't think playing a game will be accepted as being essential
Oh well, it will pass, it will pass ... (trying a self fullfilling prophecy here ... )
Keep safe and healthy, regards to Jelena,

I slept until 10am !(I am sure Nemanja would like this morning time!) and then went to my wife (oh, maybe I did not mention we had a wedding, right?) and little Veronika - they are for a week visit in her parents cottage.
I really miss the event, we all are like POWs for some time now...
@ Guus
Yes, the same scenario it was! My group likes it
Jelena sends greetings, too!
I must say we all were ninja-like, not only Japanese players We also had traditional tennoheike-Banzai moment. And, dear Guus, we say here "from your mouth to the God's ears".
Hey, Dan, congratulations to you all
Just for notice, we started our game, well, early. Early afternoon
No wings on Saturday.
But last week we tested the tripods.
Nice experience.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
What about Fire in the Skies (BoB) Campaign, Sven? Do you continue with Lindinho?
To be honest our BoB campaign stagnates for a long while now.
So when we bring Wings to the table we enjoy to setup different theaters and times. Mostly two player games due to the Corona stuff.
We played some historical WGF mission at the AH/Italiy front (Carl Brisgamers scenarios), tested the Tripods and had a few nice little Pacific scenario games at wednesday.
Beside this we played forbidden stars, Blue vs. Grey (few times) and other games. Next projects are Battle of the Five Armies and The Expanse.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Of course we hope to bring bigger action to Prague in 2021. We really miss the big scenarios with up to 12+ players.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
I miss any multiplayer scenario
Excelent picture, Thomas. Merry Chrismas even for you. Stay negative!
Merry Christmas to all you Prague-ites out there!
Really hope we can get together at some point in 2021.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
A Merry Christmas from white (and icy) Ohio.
Hope to make it to Prague some year.
