I have a Military Quiz book by John Pimlott that has sat neglected on a shelf for many years, so I thought I'd use it to stir the interest of, and torment, any forumers up for a challenge. If it gets you to look things up and expand your military knowledge then it has served its purpose.
There are no prizes - the answers will be posted below - you can mark yourselves and whoever claims the highest score is a clever old stick who can be smug that they have a broad knowledge of military history.
There are 21 questions in all - I knew 3 and guessed a 4th so I am a military history dunce - can you do better ?!
