See you on the Dark Side......
I have an Fw190D as well - don't ask me how, or where, or why I got it!
It just is.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
I have 2 190's too for you to use Paul.
See you on the Dark Side......
Excellent Neil . All I need now is pilots
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Hopefully by end of this week I will be in a postition to confirm the timetable and slots for games already booked. Then I can open the game slots for players to put their names down for.
I can confirm that we will have 3 tables operating:
Table 1: World War 1: controlled by Chris (Hedeby) and Tim (Flying Helmut)
Table 2: World War 2: controlled by Neil (skafloc)
Table 3: Sails of Glory controlled by Chris (Boney10) Simon (Maverick) but not by Tim (Flying Helmut)...just to make sure everyone understands that Tim will:
NOT BE PLAYING SAILS!
PS: Before I forget the Sunday morning game, Ace of Aces will be a SoG game, Tim will be the Flying Dutchman.

Quote - "If you want I can chip in with some Defiants and Blenheims for a bit of variety (or target practice)"
Thanks Steve I will let you know nearer the day; when I have an idea of how many playing. I have a couple of Blenheims and 3 x Beaufighters also which wold probably fit into the cannon fodder group.
Chris,
If I haven't indicated already, 4 x pin badges please as usual.
Lest we forget
Paul,
I have a couple each of 190s and Spit IXs somewhere, I'll bring them along just in case
Lest we forget
Thanks John, I will let you know nearer the day when I have an idea of how many players there will be.
I am all for your needs, friends. Will pack my cabin luggage with the goodies.

Hi All, My Scenario
I'm still not entirely sure how its all going to work, but basically an allied convoy of freighters will be steaming along, with an Airship giving top cover/ sub spotting.
A sea plane tender with destroyer escort is on the table somewhere.
CP seaplanes are in range and may be requested by the U boat.
I have the sub, the seaplane tender and destroyer, an SS class airship, some freighters in production, and a couple of Short 184 float planes.
I need CP float planes and anything else people want to fly.
The U boat can damage shipping by torpedo, but needs to surface to get a kill using it's deck gun.
When its surfaced, it can be killed.
points will be scored for aircraft brought down, ships sunk, and U boat attacks thwarted.
hopefully fun will be had by all
P.S. the ships are all 1/1200, the aircraft of course are 1/144
Lest we forget
HI John
I have 4 x 1:600th freighters and a lot of 1:600th Destroyers and Coastal forces. Also got some scratch built wooden cargo ships knocking around somewhere which I could search for if you need.
Read your post again after I wrote the above. Should have gone to Specsavers!

Thanks Reg, I have similar moments,
your heart was in the right place!
If I could find affordable ships in 1/600, I might have gone that way. The bombing will just have to be from a bit higher up to maintain perspective!
Lest we forget

Since I am travelling light, I would be very grateful if you guys could bring and provide 4 P-51s and 4 Fw 190Ds total plus bases and decks if you can. Tha would save me some space (for my Beaus, snacks and presents).

Hi Chris
Just a thought...
If the names of people who you sent me and asked for the badges are listed here
does it help Neil in respect of list of attendees for games, and admin etc...?
I will order them on Thursday
Please confirm final numbers of badges required on Wednesday evening
Thanks
Simon
Simon I have all the attendees who have said they are coming. I just need them to let me know which tables and slots they are playing in so organisers know how many to cater for before they acutally turn up.
Cheers, Neil

That is very thoughtful of you, and very apt for our gathering Mike.
Thank you on behalf of the recipients.

Nice one Mike
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Very nice memento, though there is a spelling that will need correction - it's regale not regail.
The bearer could be regaled with beer whilst they regale the provider with stories of how they earned it.
