I had seen the decks on the web site and just had to get some Italians and of course the gloster gladiators again any news on the stats for the Italian Bombers as I have already started looking at an attack on Malta with a base plan from Google Earth and just a large blue sheet for the sea giving us a large area to stop the attack!!
I have included a couple of pictures of my Italians just for interest.
I placed an order for Last Biplanes and The Revolution in the Sky from FRP Games yesterday. They claim they have them.

Finally received my Last Biplanes and Revolution in the Air booster packs. I only wish there were at least one more manoever deck and, here is the heresy, fewer plane cards. Playing with miniatures, I needed more decks. Oh, well you can't please everyone.
Jim!
Mine came in today and i see what you talking about. It does limit your playing.

Yes. I just took my copies at NG yesterday, but they have been around for a copuple of weeks now.
Maybe I've missed something, but presumably these models will be 1/200 scale to conform with the rest of the DOW minis? I certainly hope so. Until I'm sure I will hold back on buying them, but I would certainly like to have the Gladiator and Swordfish minis.

John,
I have built two Gladiators from Air 200, I have a swordfish from Skyrtrex that is in production now. All 1:200 scale.
I asked Max to create some cards for it. He has it up for download.
There may be problems producing a set of movement cards for a Fairy Swordfish because it was so slow.
For the custom card he created for me the K deck from revolution in the skies was used.
How is the battle with the biplanes vs a plane like a,b.c,d deck ??
I buy it on ebay and before to receive them, i'm curious to know how was your battle ?
Thanks (look the comments of the link )

My favorite Biplane Trick is to get in close and there is always a sigh of relief from my opponent when he thinks I have overshot him and he can come around on me and get a good shot.
That is when I break out the extremely sharp turns and I can stay right behind him and get a couple of decent shots off until his high speed takes him out of range. Then he comes in again and I just have to survive his initial burst of fire then he can't turn with me so he has to accelerate out.
So he gets one shot as he closes then I can out turn him and get a few in.
I love the look of panic when they see those sharp turns and the realize that I have the drop on the.
I can easily imagine the expression of the other pilot !!
I was coming up to a Stuka as he was starting to line up on the target and he was like ha you overshot I have a clear path to the target I used to 90 degree almost turn on a dime came up right on his tail and he was like what no how is that possible.
