My two Strutters
A very nice looking pair Chris.
Rob.
So come on Chaps & Chapesses & Strut your Strutters.
I know Clipper has put some down in the Hobby Section but there must be more of these worthy Aircraft in Service,
Anyway here is my humble 3 Naval 2 seater offering. Its a Shapeways model.

Here are my Strutter pictures.

Now that is worth "strutting" Rob. Superb job!
43 Squadron RFC, Summer 1917
Right - let's try and keep on the same page now shall we ?!
Great to see that we are still strutting our stuff after some time with no new posts on this thread Kev.
That is another fine pair of birds you have there.
Rob.
Like that John
Nice addition the scarf ring wire really adds to the model.
Cracking job John.
Keep 'em coming chaps.
Rob.
Raymond Colshaw's 1 1/2 strutter.
Another very neat offering Darell. With the fame of his triplane exploits folks often forget Collishaw's 1 1/2 Strutter.
Rob.
That's a beaut Darell
Great repaint Zoe! I really like the gunner !
Very pretty - if I get another I'll have to do that paint scheme, it looks great
Me too Dave.
I have a feeling that I'm going to need more than one Strutter before this war is over, and that is a fine example.
Nice one Tim.
Rob.

Wow,
Ronald Francis Redpath's Sopwith Strutter. Truly amazing, it is hard to express how much I want that plane.
My 1st two seater in my Bee Squadron colors. I have 3 more and some single seaters to get to...
Will have to do one or two in your colors Tim, thats great!
This one is a Shapeways model. If you like the green it is Vallejo Model Color, 096 (70894) Cam. olive green on black prime. The yellow is an acrylic craft paint, Americana, Cadmium Yellow DA10, on white base.
Looks like I put the wrong decal on...will have to get rid of that white outer ring.

Another superb rendering of a rather boring subject. Certainly livens up the old green drab Peter.

What gets me are the Bee's Knees.
Great painting guys. Could you possibly add what colors did you utilize?
Hi John. For my 1 1/2 the green is Vallejo Model Color, 096 (70894) Cam. olive green on black prime. The yellow is an acrylic craft paint, Americana, Cadmium Yellow DA10, on white base. I'll add this to the original post.
My V of Strutters
All shapeways.
The crew of aircraft 1 & 3 my not have actually have been the crew who flew these aircraft, both sets of crew did fly with 45 Sqn in Strutters and were KIA in them. So my little tribute to these brave airmen.
Aircraft 2 is correctly named according to the source I used.
Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutters
45 Sqn RFC
1. 2/Lt J.A.Marshall 2/Lt F.G Truscott
2. Lt F.G.Garrett Lt A.S.Carey
3. 2/Lt C.St.G. Campbell Capt D.W.Edwards
Wonderful gaggle of Sopwith "targets" you've painted up, Chris.
Nice 'V' of three there Chris.
Very nice looking set of Strutters there Chris. however, I see only III not V.
Rob.

That Strutter of yours Peter is just Bee-utiful!
This is a Red Eagle (ex Skytrex) metal Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter.
I needed 2 for my solo campaign.
Although the wings are very thick I do like this miniature. It has personality.
Besides I had to paint them now.
Before the Ares miniatures are on market...
Or I would postpone.
As I've done with others...
I still have two Sopwith Triplanes to build and paint... And 200 WW2 planes...
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Lovely Strutters!
