This is a Shapeways WSF Halberstadt D.II painted in a generic aircraft blue that some of them seemed to be painted in:
Interesting how the colour looks under different lighting conditions
Some more pics & full details in my album here

Great one Barry. Lets hope a few more turn up in a few days.
Rob.
Beautiful SRAM models, and a good visual check on the size difference between the CL.IV and its bigger brother C.V.
My first Shapeways plane.
I like the paint job you've done on your Halberstadt Rob what green did you use for the cammo pattern , as I've got the same plane just thought I may add some extra decals to it , but I'm impressed and would love to steal your idea for mine with some minor differences
On my Halberstadt D.III I've added eagle decals to the fuselage from Veni Vidi Vici the code is 10M6 , I've got some photos on my mobile phone so I'll post pictures of my new plane as soon as I can do so.
I do like the sinister effect you get on your planes Matthias.
Rob.
They are fighter planes - they must have a sinister effect to your flight!!
Matthias
Excellant photos and models. Thanks for the great work you all have done.
This paint scheme is based on some 70's box art box art - paint details etc are here enjoy !
Very colourful Dave. That should give my lads a good mark to go for.
Rob.
Another great paint job. them coming.
Wow a lot of great paint jobs, well done to all of you
Nice planes all of you, I'm working on one right now!
Nick
This is a captured Halberstadt C.I in Russian service, 27th Corps Air Detachment, Manevichi, Summer 1916
Sram resin kit 1/144
From the moment of capture (1915), the aircraft remained unarmed. After maintenance at the Lebedev factory,
three(!!) machine guns were mounted to it, which was probably unique for Russian aviation in the 1914-1917 period
(except for four-engine "Ilya Muromets").
Pilot Hofman, observer Ivanov.
They died in this machine in September 6, 1916 after its wreckage
Nice one Michal
Very clean paint job and a nice repair job Florian.
Rob.

Looks great Florian !
Very nice aircraft everyone. Really enjoying the sweet early war models, and the Russian captured craft is nice. Thanks all.
Love the SRAM Halberstadt, I would love to get a couple of these one
I complete my early Neiuport.
For the D2 is it an historical scheme, if so who is the pilot and unit, I have a spare brown Halberstadt
Ah, your green tone looks much better. I'll redo mine.
Florian, I like your brighter green. I think my shade is a bit too dark.
So we should meet us in the middle
Love all of these Halberstadt variations. I'll have to get a picture of the Ares DIII I've repainted and get it posted. I went with the purple and green variation like some of you above, although my green is more of an olive tone rather than the darker green. I'll request SWMBO to take a few with her iPad in the next day or so and see what I can get posted.
Keep up the inspiring work!
All the best,
Matt
Nice flight of Halberstadt's James.
While the forums were down I got busy!
Very nice bird.
Not an historical scheme... Who cares!!!
Me for one!!! I've got several non historical paint schemes but hey you never know!!
Well historical or not. It is just a stunning looking Ac!
Your avatar James. Is that historical? Because that is just as good looking!
Thanks guys.
I think it's pretty funny. I painted 2 planes in my tiger colors, Fokker EIII and this one. James did his own colors and the design was very similar to my yet unposted Halberstadt. Great minds think alike?
