My collection has grown, too, since I answered the poll and posted previously - but I think, perhaps, that one of the choices on the poll should have read "Never enough"...;)

All the best,
Matt
My collection has passed into the next threshold too.
"Never enough" and "Too Many" simultaneously - that would be my best answer.
It's too bad you can't change your vote. I also have crossed a threshold to a new level of madness/happiness.
My motto is 'Too much of a good thing is never enough'. :)
Still just short of 100 but.... Only just.
About 70 (together with Пилот) and Shapeways order (some 15 more) on the way.
Just recounted mine - more than doubled what I had when I voted.
286 total (including in transit)
WGF : 147
WGS : 139
:takecover::dazed::erk:
Are we only counting On Site, or does In Transit count too? lol
we should do a reboot of this thread. i dont know about everyone else but my collections increased significantly since this was published
I may have added a plane or two myself....................
Well I have too, but that next level is a big leap
Karl
I answered this poll in 2014 and I had between 100-199 miniatures.
As you can see below we definitely need a reboot.

WW2 (1/200) total = 365
Total 220 WGF + 365 WGS = 595
I know I've bought ten WGF in the last few weeks. I'm not sure of the exact total but it's now about 90 models almost all of which have either been repainted or are waiting to be repainted.
With the next release coming in May/June, I'll probably break the 600 mark :erk:
lots of painting to do. Plus more storage trays.
Karl
Ready for the table, I'm in the 50-99 range at the moment, although if I ever get my Shapeways horde dealt with (mostly purchased back in the first flush of Shapeways enthusiasm c. 2011, and mostly still unpainted....) that'll go up at least one band. That said, my immediate future is a lower total - couple of things need funding, so a pile of my WGF repaints will be Ebay-bound this coming week. Of course that'll just free up space for more in the longer term, because megalomania's a bitch like that.... ;)
As a relative rookie I have been slowly but surely building a collection. I am only at 30, excluding my AIM Drachen. Three are Bombers, a recently acquired RNAS Handley Page, the Aschoff Gotha and the LaGuardia Caproni. All the rest are (mostly) Ares, with a few older Nexes and my one kit build - a Valom Nieuport 17 in the Charles Nungesser paint scheme (perhaps you have seen it on the Aerodrome). Repaints comprise only 6 of my kites, but the repaints always seem to be the favorites because of the time invested. I think I have more coming. I say I think because my brother and I (BB401 - Bob) and another "playmate", Scott Killinger, have been doing some bulk buying on EBay and dividing up after. I think I will be doing a minor repaint of the MvR DR.1 (425/17) back to the 477/17. It is an interesting mix of many colors and as I have found out, the Baron's No. 1 Dr.1 in terms of aerial victories. I find it interesting how many aircraft pilots seemed to have at their disposal. Get shot down in the morning and go back up In the afternoon and fight on - amazing!
33 with two more en route. All WGF including two giants and a nice even split 16 Entente and17 Central Powers.
My WGS series 6 delivery just arrived!
Attachment 201932
This pushes my Wings of Glory air armada over the 450 mark.
I think Im sitting somewhere around the 200 mark. Havent officially counted. Will get around to it someday
Except WGS Series 6 (order not yet placed), still One Of Everything.
Annoying that the "Free Shipping" threshold is pegged right at the "Beancounter Approval Required" threshold... fergoshsakes, I carry one of the deadliest fighting pistols ever made and make life-and-death decisions every day and have done so virtually my entire adult life with not one lapse of judgement, and they STILL don't think I can handle the responsibility of managing my own money?! *rolls eyes*
They were right about me................................
Counting officially suspended owing to inability to handle large numbers.
96 - so close to the next level.
Just did an updated count.
WWI currently stands at 243.
WW2 at 125
plus five balloons one Zeppelin and a Naval airship.
Total. 368 plus the balloons.
Rob.
161 WGF
171 WGS
____
332
+ 2 balloons
Not bad for 2-1/2 years work
:D
Interesting that I have more WGS than WGF since I haven't tried WGS yet.
The Series 9 will balance them out and put WGF ahead.
But then comes the new BoB ....
;)
Rough estimate puts me over 400 between WGF and WGS but I won't be able to get in an inventory until September.
Just counted all of my minis:
WGF: 39
WGS: 34
SoG: 12
Total: 75 + 2 balloons (+12 ships)
That looks good. May be I am not addicted... :smack: OK, I know I am... :minis:
Daniel, I agree, you do not look like you are addicted......give it a little more time. ;)
I have an Excel file with all of mine so I can keep track of what I have.
Started that back in 2014 when I was first collecting and having a hard time keeping track of what I was getting from various eBay sites.
Wish I had picked up a few more of certain ones when they were available ....
:(
I'm still working on filling mine; I guess that last summation total will be a shock.
Karl
I'm not close to Karl but I've got my share...
I just broke the 200 mark (I'm at 210) in acquiring some dozen or so WW2 planes a friend wanted to trade - that 210 is majority Nexus/Ares, with a few F-Toys, New Ray, and Shapeways planes thrown in for good measure. Eighty percent of them are WW1 - it will always be my favorite period...:)
I shall acquire more, I'm sure...:p
All the best,
Matt
The counting's done (I hope; thinking I have a couple He-111s hiding somewhere):
Nexus/Ares WW1: 318
Nexus/Ares WW2: 252
Shapeways (not counting "targets" like Bugs and V-1s): 142
Models and F-toys waiting to be built: 38
Resin: 21
Skypilot diecast: about a dozen, I think (They're packed in a couple places)
So official planes: 570
Outsourced planes: 214+
Total: 784+
Karl
So, I have 75, Karl has 784+. I'll try to tell to Jitka: "Honey, do you see this little plane? OK, now imagine 10 instead of 1." :D
Outstanding numbers, Karl. You have your own (Ch)Air Force! :salute:
Hmmm, about 125 of all sorts...I think. I really need a better system of organization.
Not sure when I broke the 100 official planes barrier, but it was prior to the most recent release.
