I'd like to be down for the Sails game on Sat. :)
Gotcha... thanks Gary. You gonna be sails all day?
This is what we are looking at thus far.. Andy (Hawkhurst), I assume you and Deadly M will be on the WW2 table?
Plenty of spaces left would be good to know what games folks are wanting to play, just to help out those running things... Thank you

Hope image is readable, cutting and pasting spreadsheets not that easy.
Looks good Chris
BSG for me on Friday please, Chris.
Chris, can you put me down for BSG on Friday, WW1 by Tim and Sudeten on Friday please?
Welcome aboard the Galactica chaps.
Does not seem actual for me.
I already posted my preferences, too.
My choices:
Friday - BSG
Saturday - Table 3, Table 1, Table 3 please
BUT - Is there a WW1 game planned for after lunch on Saturday? The slot looks open (but I may be wrong). If it is I could look to do a "Wings and Waves of Glory" game with seaplanes and coastal motor boats and the odd submarine.....
EDIT - strike the last paragraph, just found out I may be overseas the week before Donnie (which is now making me worried as to whether the "job" will be finished before the end of that week....
Must have misread your post Kubajs, I will amend
I would like to start with Tripods and Triplanes on Friday. For Saterday I would like to join The Battle of Basque Rods in the morning and finish with Sudeten ‘38. Looking forward to meet you all again. Lex
Be proud to have you as a captain on the Basque Roads battle Lex.
Rob.
Thank you, Rob. Is there something I should read?
Hi Lex.
You could start here.
https://www.sailsofglory.org/showthr...6598#post86598
I will be adding more biography's of both Captains and ships over the next Month, but as we are only dealing with the part of the Inshore Squadron which was active in the attack, that should be enough for the moment. It looks as if each Captain will be in command of a couple of ships with specific duties. Either a Bomb Ketch, and a fire ship plus one of the fighting ships. The French will be the sitting ducks as they were in the actual event.
Rob.
hi Rob,
thank you. I will start with reading.
cheers, Lex
Any more updates from anyone? Any more definite Yes or No from anyone?
Still waiting for a huge cylinder from Mars to grab the rules and fine tune my scenario idea.
The chances of anything coming from Mars is a million to one they say.....
Fingers crossed
Sir, am I enlisted for BGS & Sails at Saturday?
Glad to have you Sven.
Rob.
Chris can you confirm the peeps and mechanoids paying BSG on Friday please . :D
To all Pilots of the Earth and the Martian invaders,
The Fall of Doncaster 1918 Tripods & Triplanes scenario rules...
Want any help defeating those milking stools from the BSG squadrons Andy ;)
I feel a Scenario coming on
Version 1.1 uploaded.
Version 1.2 uploaded.
Sorry chaps, according to the rules I have to send the rules to Neil's box first!
Andy you need to send them to Hedeby now not skafloc.
My v.3 scenario revision herewith for the Protect the Balloon game on Saturday morning.
Revised Scenario for the ‘Protect the Balloon’ game at Doncaster 2019 v.3
A British observation balloon is in contact with 2 off - board artillery units and is ranging them in on two
Enemy target sites.
The aim of the British airplanes is to protect the balloon until it has accomplished its mission. If the Balloon is able to make a controlled descent having enabled the Artillery to take out both targets the British players will have won the game.
The aim of the German airplanes is to shoot down the balloon and thereby save the two target sites from total destruction. If the balloon is shot down the German players will have won the game but will be deducted points if either or both Artillery targets are destroyed.
Scoring will be as per the GM instruction sheet.
The artillery will be controlled by the GM who will apportion damage to the target sites which will each have a 25 damage point value.. Once ranged in hits are automatic.
British will be flying Camels and Snipes with a Britfit backup for re-spawn..
Germans will be flying Focker D.VII and Albatros DVa and may re-spawn as Siemens-Schuckarts.
The Balloon site is surrounded by a number of anti-aircraft defences which will be operated by the GM. Beware, AA guns and Machine guns are notorious for shooting at anything that flies!
I've recently bought Aeronautica Imperialis - basically Warhammer 40k air combat.
I'm hoping to have to have the base game models built and painted in time for Donny.
If I bring it along, would anyone be up for a game on the Friday?
I want ask home pilots if someone would be so kind and lend me several Stukas (4-6) and one or two Bf.109. I should bring gaming mat and 6x Avia B.534 with me, but I am trying to minimize my backpack as much as possible (to bring some lovely candies to my honeys at home) :please:
Same problem here.
Chaps, my T&T scenario project is done and has been sent to Chris for verification.
I see I will need help with the stuff for it, that means:
1) at least 2 tripods (3 will really fit the bill), Locust (preferred), or a mix force, with their manoeuvre cards, action cards, rulers, energy tokens and A,B,C damage cards from the starter set.
2) 2 old Nexus mats (east and west); these mats are very important because of the river and the game scale.
3) WoG A and B/B firing planes British and German, but hope there will be plenty of them all around plus usual tokens, smoke & fire, jam markers etc.
I am kindly asking you to provide all of the above :please:.
@Andrzej: In case of need, I can ask Kubajs about lending some Tripods and take them with me.
