I can't get my wife on side with wargaming, but I think I've got my son hooked!! :D
My lad was a bit "taken" by his flight on the merry go round. It cost me fortune trying to get him off it!!! :D
well you could always sneak back with a wrench and a trailer....:D:D:eek:
then he could have one at home. I wonder if I could find a Fokker Dr 1 go cart that wouldn't be to expensive and complicated to make [not really good at making stuff like that. would bang my thumb more times then not.]
still got to find him a toy plane he can play with. he keeps on eying up my WoW planes every time I get them out for a game. and squeals out "da planes da planes"
Cheers

What are your carpentry skills like? You could make him one. I saw the recent TV programme with James May, Top Gear presenter, making the 'life sized' Airfix Spitfire with a bunch of school kids. Ok, he had some major help, but he pulled it off and it looked very cool indeed - and he got himself moulded as the plastic pilot. How cool is that?

I saw that one, it was really good programme. I took the family to the museam at RAF Cosford last weekend to see it, as its out side on display. I'll try and post some photos of it later when i get home. He obviously never used as much glue as if did when i was a kid, as some of the bit were starting to fall off already!!
She's happy, then you are happy too (even down under:)!
It's all about compromise to pull out a win-win.
If she's in charge of the scheduling calendar, you can ask her to schedule regular time slots for uninterrupted gaming. In return, she can also put you on the calendar for gardening projects with a loving 'happy' face.
It doesn't matter if you like it. You can fake the enthusiasm, and she will still appreciate the effort.
Take an interest: Look up some famous gardens on the web, and tell her what you like best. Talk about it.
Guaranteed smiles all around :D
Hope that helps, and good luck!!!
i'll check that out.
my wife is heading off this weekend to go see the Twilight, New Moon double feature.
her and 31 other Twilight mums have hired out a theater & are getting all dolled up so they can sit and drool at the pretty boys on the big screen.
While I get to look after our two lil angels. [mmmm demons might be a better word] thank fully my brother inlaw is coming over as his girlfriend is going with her. So we might get a few games of WoW in on Friday night, Saturday, and even Sunday. fingers crossed the lad will go to bed and stay asleep.....
Cheers
