We have a nice balance of WW1/WW2 and a SoG game in the mix too. 2 slots available.
Chaps, after a rough few months it is looking as though I may be able to make it to the event :)
Great Dave
Can't have the dinner without the Adjutant being there. Good form Dave.
I have 10 BoB Spitfires and around 8 ME109 and 3 ME110
Fleet action sounds good. Fancy a bit of cut and thrust on the Fo'castle.
Can someone remind me which hotel is the duty mess for the duration?
Hi Dave.
HQ. is Premier Inn Doncaster Central East.
Rob.
CinC has given final approval, just booked :)
Great to know you can make it Dave.
I can also pay you that 25 Squid that I owe you in person.
Rob.
So the old'14 gang will gather again in full force:D. Yeah!
Is there a page / post somewhere with the basic details of the event somewhere? Specifically I'm looking for starting and ending times so I can figure out how many night at a hotel might be required. It looks like the mess is now fully booked, so some shopping around will be in order.
- Neil.
Neil, UK WingCo Kyte will be helpful in the matter.
Hi Neil,
Basic is , a weekend of gaming at the Doncaster Air museum, starting Friday afternoon evening on Sept 18, all day Saturday and finishing Sunday Afternoon.
A lot of us are Staying at the Doncaster Central East
Premier Inn, which has a pub next door, which the intention is to have a meeal and drinks on Friday and Sat nights.
At the moment the event is open to any forum member that wants to organise a game for a slot on a booked table.
Once all slots have been taken , the games wil be published and attendees can choose a game they wish to play in.
Look in this thread Scafloc has put a general description of the slots and timings.
Take a look, any question I can try to answer at Thornbury or by PM
Thanks Chris. Travelling up Friday seems the sensible plan. Looks like the Premier Inn is now fully booked for the weekend, so I will find the nearest alternative and make arrangements.
- Neil.

Are you going to set up a "Games booking" table like last year Neil, so we can book our places and have an Idea of how many are playing each game?
Got a cracking deal at the Travelodge Lakeside, so am booked for Friday and Saturday nights! Looks like I'm coming to Doncaster!
- Neil.
That is a very good news, Neil:).
With the growing number of participants we will need either official UK Wing shirts with nicks or badges with names! I will bring a badge of mine for sure:)
What is the head count so far chaps ?
:thankyou: :thankyou: :medal: :salute: :minis:
As last year Stotties, ham and pease pudding will be available for a small charge.
(Paul how many stotties can you fit in your bag?)
Neil
