Nice work thus far...
nice work so far. look forward to the results!
Looks interesting. Great work!
Looking forward to seeing the finished monoplane
Thank you, I am courious too :).
Some WIP photo. I wanted to try rigging, because it is important visual part of the plane. Will see if it survives heat of the battle :)

That looks fantastic so far :clap:
Wow Petr your Udet Fokker E.III looks amazing. Rep is coming your way :thumbsup:
Thank you, much appreciated.
Now I am not sure about rigging. I thought it will be capable to survive the handling (and I still do) but I forget we use smoke trail markers that you hook on the wing. And riging is in its way. :/.
I found the same problem with my Pfalz E.I and E.II models :(
I'm having to make special flame and smoke markers which avoid the rigging.
(before any of the Forum Captain Obvious' make their input, YES I DO know about the flame and smoke markers which attach to the flight pegs: I own sets from Aerodrome Accessories, Litko and Pyrkol, but none look as good as markers hooked onto the plane model itself)
Almost finished - only Oberursel engine left to do:

Nearly there!
Looking great!
A wonderful build. Am in awe of your skill. :surrender::clap::clap:
Amazing. They are looking so good.
Awesome work, Petr!
:thumbsup:
You have more patience than I, Petr. It's looking good.
Beautiful work Petr! Far better than anything ARES could do.
Thank you, much appereciated.
Udet´s Fokker E.III is finished. Another one with different camo in the making.

Awesome! :clap::clap:
Here comes the Rep! :guns::guns:
Too beautiful to play with. :clap::clap::clap:
Simply amazing.
REP!
If I didn't know better, I would have thought, "That has to be 1:72 or larger!" The rigging is especially good.
Thank you very much, friends. My models are far from perfect, but they are for play and from playing distance they look realy nice to me :). You would be surprise that (once they are ready to print) it does not take too much time to build them. To design,unrol and texture them is time eater here.
To see realy unbelievable 1/144 scratchbuild plastic models (not playable though) just look here:

Builder is jeweler and I am in awe ewerytime I look at his models.
Outstanding!
Hello friends,
here is new addition to my Fokker collection - Fokker E.III 635/15 Kek Vaux, pilot unknown.
Attachment 310541Attachment 310542Attachment 310543
one Fokker E.IV (Max Immelman) to make and then I will build them some adversaries - two Airco DH.2 (one of them Hawker of course :))
Another corker! :clap::clap:
REP gun jammed :mad:
Wonderful! Those are beautiful! Awesome job!
Those are fantastic, Petr!
REP! :clap:
The lattice of the DH.2s sound like quite a challenge! Look forward to seeing more. :thumbsup:
Wonderful modelling. Rep to follow. :clap::clap::clap:
Thank you, much appreciated :)
The lattice of DH.2 will be interesting :). It will need some tests to find out best ratio between sufficient rigidity and nicely small thickness. I am slaping together fast and simple DH.2 test "dummy" to play with.
With Fokker E.III It is funny how fragile the model feels (even to me who knows how it is constructed) because of detailing and riggig. But in fact it is stiff. You can hold it with quite a pressure by fuselage, wingtips, rudder or tailplane with no problem. Chance of damage by falls on the table or ground are very small due to its small weigth. I accidentaly droped it few times from cca 1,5m and nothing happend so far. And being so lightweigth, it holds its position perfectly on gimbal. I hate to play with some original models because of its problems to hold steady on gimbal. Only thing prone to damage is rigging because it is just hair.
Absolutely fantastic work.
:eek: :thumbsup:
Unfortunately my REP mechanism is jammed.
Wow, these are great. Petr, you are the paper model master!
Superb Petr, great skills ! :thumbsup:
Oh my word... magnificent. I cannot believe they are paper, they must be the best Eindeckers I have ever seen.
Incredible job. Rep inbound :sAprvd:
