"Oh, Oh, Oh what a lovely war." :singin::singin::drinks::drunk:
Oh to be able to catch an SST to London for the weekend.....drat, they're not flying anymore either :(
Karl
I wish you all a wonderful event, comrades. :salute:
Things are being packed, planes go to a special travel box. Tickets printed. Just a good bye kiss to SWMBO and daughter. Where are those Gin bottles...? Ah, yeah, here they are. What? Only 15kg of registered luggage? How come?
Safe travels Andrzej !
Just spent the last hour tracking down my seaplane collection. We will have an interesting mix of British, German, Italian and Austrian types to choose from, as well as CMBs, an ML and a U boat. Maybe even a Kangaroo and a couple of British airships. Now to find the manoeuvre decks!
Pick up parking is restricted to half an hour Andy, so we will lurk outside the airport. If you phone my mobile when you get your baggage off the conveyor we will swoop into the arrivals hall and meet you there.
Rob.
I am aware of that, Rob. Know that tactics of approaching the arrivals. I will wear something like very British T-shirt, so you won't miss me even from a distance ;)
Safe 'flights', everyone, to and from Doncaster and enjoy yourselves! :) :pint: :salute:
Just checked in at Wrocław Airport. My flight shall be on time:)
Keep an eye out for bandits over the coast, Andy. Don't end up like your namesake :D

See you this evening :)
:D I will David, I will! For now they have announced 25 min delay:erk:
Any pics from today's action, am feeling down as the post office haven't managed to pull their fingers out, an I won't have new toys for tomorrow's bash.
There will be many I expect. An excellent first day was had by all. Expect some official reports soon, I'll refrain from giving away any of the surprises, but safe to say a few legends were created today :)
I don't have any pics as I left my camera (and loads of other things) at home, and my tablet pics haven't come out too well.
As always Dave, cheers.
David, sounds great, can't wait to see pics, cheers for the heads up.
Early morning patrol for a flight of Camels, visibility is good but those clouds could be hiding a whole squadron of enemy scouts.
A flight of 4 Albatross DV's closing fast.Attachment 144122
First Casualty a German flamer
The fight is fast and furious with aircraft wheeling all across the sky. Two more German pilots succumb to the guns of the British pilots
The last remaining Albatross crashes in flames amongst the wrecks of his comrades and the the British camels turn for home with no losses. It's been a good day so far for the RFC.
Wow! Cheers RB.
