Nice job, Brian, but if you want to sell it as RAF the surround should be light blue, the scroll gold, the middle field white and the title Squadron....
Think you're referring top the colourful squadron marking used during peacetime between the wars and after. Probably not something you need to worry...
I suppose you could do that in the last turn on fire though as you're not planning a straight that turn. Just hope you don't get another fire before...
ive been a gamer since 16 and have played all sorts of war, tabletop strategic, and role playing games. ive always loved aviation (my 1st airplane ride was at 4yrs old) especially warbirds. my family background is mostly german with a bit of irish and smattering of canadian, , scottish, british, french, and italian) and sadly often speeding tickets lol. my other interests are scifi/fanatsy including star trek, star wars, firefly, serenity, the 5th element, the works of robert heinlein, tolken, asimov, clark, and many others. i enjoy british sports cars, tv shows like antiques roadshow, pawnstars, american pickers. i used to enjoy historical reenacting but, sadly, arthritis has put an end to that. i have a bachelors degree in psychology which i finally achieved in 2009.
